Reflexology is not just a foot massage… It combines precise pressure techniques that release energy blocks, cleansing and clearing the body of accumulated toxins, to restore health and vitality throughout your whole body.
And you only need to take your socks off…
By working or stimulating each bare foot with my hands, the internal healing potential of your body is activated. Reflexology encourages your Entire Body to work in harmony naturally… Restoring its own healthy balance for your Achievable WellBeing.
It is a safe, non-invasive and gentle holistic therapy, suitable for people of all ages… including children with parental consent. The feet reflect the whole body, with reflex points and meridian lines found on the feet, which correspond to the major glands and organs of the body.
Many of my clients find having reflexology deeply relaxing, often falling asleep during the session and wake refreshed, energised and yet calmer too… Reflexology is a great stress reliever for mind, body and soul.

What is involved in a Reflexology Treatment?
Reflexology treatments usually last an hour and to really make a noticeable difference, 4 – 6 weekly sessions are recommended for optimum results, depending on your body’s needs.
Firstly we talk about your health and lifestyle and I make a note of your medical history – All details are held in the strictest confidence. It is particularly important you inform me of any existing medical conditions and please bring any prescribed medication and supplements you are taking with you.
You will then be asked to remove your shoes and socks or tights and sit or lie down on a treatment couch, with pillows where required for support and comfort. It’s a good idea to wear something comfortable, that’s not too tight around the waist and neck area, so that you can relax.
The general appearance of your feet will be examined as any sores, infected areas or corns cannot receive pressure, and then they are gently cleaned and dried. With my bare hands I start by gently massaging and applying pressure to each foot in turn. I may use a gentle lubricant – such as Shea butter, or a vegetable carrier oil… I never use talcum powder.
The application and the effect of the therapy, is unique to each person. Reflexology is not ticklish or painful; any tender areas are treated gently and the feeling tends to be soothing rather than sore.
